I am not a paper cup...

I bought one of these at Patina in Minneapolis a few weeks ago, absolutely LOVE.
It is made of ceramic, the lid is made of silicone, and it is thermal so it keeps hot hot and cold cold.
I have always hated the travel coffee mugs with the lid that never works and you always spill your coffee anyway, and you can't really drink out of it, etc....
But, I also hate the waste that is created by the bajillion coffee cups that look like this that are used and wasted everyday.
So, problem solved, I bring this everywhere with me, it is thick enough that I an not really afraid of breaking it and it fakes people out because they think it is a paper cup. Plus, it looks like modern art.
Just think if a quarter of the population had one of these and used them all the time. Combine that with a reusable water bottle and reusable shopping bags, that would decrease waste considerably!!!!!! For the cost of 3 or 4 latte's you can own one of these gems and feel good not just because you had coffee in the morning, but because you were a good, global citizen while doing so.
Sustainability can be simple, and sexy, all at the same time. Find what works for you, just do something!

XOXO,
